Bengals' Pollack out for season after breaking his neck
Week two saw a terrible injury for Cincinnati Bengals' David Pollack who broke his neck in a collision with Cleveland's Reuben Droughns.
Pollack was prostate on the pitch for five minutes after the horror first-quarter clash. He remained conscious and he could feel his limbs before being rushed to hospital
Pollack, whose team went on to beat the Cleveland Browns by 34 to 17, will miss the entire season.
Rashad Jeanty will take Pollack's place at strongside linebacker. It was another cruel blow for the Bengals, who are short of Odell Thurman. He is still sitting out a four-match ban.
