JustBet Sportsbook has been sold to Bookmaker.eu
LATEST NEWS: JustBet was sold to the much bigger and better Bookmaker.eu Sportsbook. We recommend that instead of joining JustBet that you now join their parent company Bookmaker.eu instead. You can read our Bookmaker.eu review here.
JustBet Sportsbook is designed for people interested in sports and gaming in the USA and it succeeds. There is an online bookmaker, racebook and casino which include everything that the majority of USA sports bettors and casino fans are looking for. Black and red, the main colors used on their website, are both colors that usually indicate danger in the natural world but this review does not need to warn you about any dangers of joining this online betting firm.
We can confidently recommend JustBet to you if you are interested in US based sports or casino action. And you can trust them to look after your money and give it back to you whenever you want.
The only disclaimer worth a mention is for bettors who are especially interested in European sports or action centred in other continents. The coverage of sports overseas at JustBet has certainly increased significantly over the past year but it is still not as extensive as some other online sportsbooks. That said, the European soccer coverage is very good.
Prompt Payouts: JustBet tick the most important box for American clients – they can be trusted to process your financial transfers including your payouts promptly and efficiently. Fortunately the people there have managed to avoid the problems that have plagued so many of their competitors dealing with the accounts of clients based in the USA. They do not come up with silly excuses for failing to release your money when you want to make a withdrawal.
Taking a closer look: If you decide to have a look at their racebook or any other area of the site in detail, you will need to log in to get a realistic view of how things are presented once you get past the slick black and red graphics that are the site’s shop window.
Logging in and creating a password is absolutely painless. It took about two minutes as you only have to provide your email, name and address and create a password to gain access to the areas of the site you will want to use if you choose to start betting with them. There is no need to deposit money if you want to have a thorough look around.
If you are wary of giving your email address and receiving screens full of unwanted messages, do not worry. They do not start contacting you for no reason just because they have your email address.
JustBet Racebook and Sportsbook: There may be a racebook tab from the homepage but, once you have logged in, you will be taken to a general sports page which looks very different from the pages you encountered before you logged in. The page color scheme is reversed to provide a white background with black text and red headings. This page design may not look so stylish but it is a whole lot easier to read which is just as well because there is a lot more information carried on it.
At first glance you will probably notice the bold black headings for Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Other Sports and Soccer. The main headings are, as usual, indicative of the types of sport receiving the greatest attention. So where did the horses/racebook go? Look above those headings and you will find a black toolbar with headings reversed out in white. Those headings include Home, My Account, Rules, Wager Type, Casino Games, Cashier and, yes, they do still exist, Horses.
If you click on ‘Horses’, on the next page you will find a list of upcoming races listed according to the minutes remaining until post time. It is important to keep a close watch on the time remaining and to refresh your screen frequently as, if you leave it until the last minute (literally), you will not be able to place your bet as all races at JustBet Sportsbook close for betting purposes one minute before the post time.
We tried the racebook midweek in early May and found just three upcoming races listed from Fairmount Park, Parx and Indiana Downs. There was also a list of tracks which included Finger Lakes and Mountaineer Park as well as the courses already mentioned.
There is usually only one race listed from each track, the next one, so do not be alarmed if the you want to bet the fourth race at Indiana Park and it is not mentioned. You just have to click on whatever race is listed at Indiana Park and all the races remaining on the day’s card will be shown on the next screen.
When you click on the race that interests you, details will be given of the surface, distance and purse. A handy countdown to the race time is now provided so you know exactly how much time you have left to review and make your selection.
The information given on the individual race runners is minimal. The only details provided are the name of the horse, the jockey and the odds on offer. There are simple tick boxes for the basic types of bet available beside each of the runners: Win, Place or Show. If you would prefer an Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Daily Double or Parlay, simply click on the relevant heading in the left hand side menu and the tick boxes will be changed to make it easy for you to place your bet.
Other areas of the JustBet sportsbook use a similar, uncluttered approach to enable you to place your bets quickly and easily.
If you click on Baseball in early May for example, you will find action from the Major League Baseball National League and Major League Baseball American League. Money lines, run lines and the over/under for the total number of runs will be offered on all the day’s games. College baseball, world classic, Mexican league and exhibition baseball are also listed.
For high profile games such as the Detroit Tigers versus the Chicago White Sox in the Major League Baseball American League there may be a variety of game props offered, many of which will be dependent upon the appearance of the listed pitchers starting. If game props are available there will be a heading in red type next to the game listing.
Props can typically include: the team to score first, whether there will be a run scored in the first innings, the total number of runs and hits and errors in the first innings, the first home run of the game, the total number of strikeouts and the most total bases.
Whilst horse racing and baseball are blatantly focused on US action, if you are a soccer fan, you may be pleasantly surprised to find that JustBet cover a significant amount of international activity. Markets are offered on UEFA Champions League matches, the Premier League in England, La Liga in Spain, Serie A in Italy, Mexico’s Primera Division, Ligue 1 in France, Serie A in Brazil, Primera Division in Argentina, Eredivisie in Holland and the Russian Premier League as well as USA MLS.
JustBet Casino: If you have logged in and click through to the online casino you are presented with a choice of the Players Edge Casino, the High Roller Casino and the Live Dealer Casino.
At the Players Edge you have the choice of playing for fun or for real so you can review some of the table games, video poker, slot games and ZipTabs or Keno before you have a go at the real thing. Table games include a choice of six different Blackjack games, Dice, Roulette and Cards. For video poker fans there are single or multi options to choose from.
If you like slots, there are around twenty games to choose from. Many of the games have progressive bonuses including Pyramid Progressive, Deep Space Progressive and Rock and Roll Progressive. When you click through on a particular game, details of the jackpots on offer are clearly displayed in a black bar at the top of the screen.
All the slot graphics are bright and cheerful and you can just click on a button if you want to have sound. You can also choose between three game speeds, whether or not to have a chip balloon and even choose the table color you prefer.
The High Roller Casino offers a range of card games including Blackjack tournaments, Three Card Poker, Craps, Let it Ride Poker, Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker. You will also find American Roulette and additional slots.
The Live Dealer Casino at JustBet offers Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette. It is now open to players 24 hours a day so you do not have to alter your schedule to fit in with theirs. The only break in play is in the card table action. There is a fifteen minute break at 10am PST and 10pm PST to shuffle the decks to be used in the next twelve hours.

Terrible experience. I've been with justbet for years, and then changed my bet after the games was completed. Granted, it was a $35 dollar bet, but it is the principle. I called customer service, and they disconnected me, once I stated my case. I called back, and they stated that it was my fault. I've been with justbet for years, and I have never made a complaint, prior to today. You would think they would of taken me seriously, or for the very least, look into my complaint. There are too many other legitimate online gaming companies. Choose any of them, as long as it is not justbet.
JustBet used to good when it was independent, now just another landing page for Bookmaker.
