MyBookie Review & Bonuses: Improving Sportsbook

Last updated February 5th, 2023

Visit MyBookieMyBookie is growing fast in the USA offshore sportsbook ranks. It’s breadth of betting lines is ever-expanding, while its slick, quick software is evolving all the time. MyBookie has becomes very popular with American sports bettors, but is this burgeoning reputation justified? Read this MyBookie review and find out.

We are always looking for likely US-facing bookies, but they are far from easy to find. That’s because they need to be honest, trustworthy, operate using good software and have a reliable payments’ system – and that is just for starters. So it is a rare treat to be writing a review of a firm that we at USA Betting are happy to give the seal of approval to.

MyBookie accepts players from all of the U.S. apart from these restricted states: New Jersey, New York, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

We have kept our eagle eye on MyBookie Sportsbook since they first opened up online in the summer of 2014. Sure, we knew they had management with a long-established resumé in the sports betting industry. But this was a new brand and we needed to know they weren’t going to have issues, disappear within a couple of years or be outright rogues. After all, there are a few scam artists out there. So it has taken a few years of observation before we were prepared to suggest MyBookie Sportsbook to our readers.

This firm is very competitive and compares favorably with its chief rivals. It has an easy-to-use website with intuitive software. The sports’ betting lines offer fair value and the extent of them is excellent. There is also a dedicated racebook section plus casino.

MyBookie Sportsbook Bonuses

There is a choice of bonuses from MyBookie and remember, you do not have to take a bonus as they do have rollover requirements which can sometimes become a big bind. So make sure you read the terms on their website for each of the bonuses. If you don’t want a bonus then remove any bonus code before you deposit. If offers like this are your thing, then this is probably the sports betting site for you because they have a number of tempting options (including one with just 1 x rollover required), which are:

  • 100% Sign-Up Bonus Up To $1000 (promo code: MYB100): You get 100% of your initial deposit, which must be for at least $50. There is a “five to fifteen times” rollover requirement. You can not withdraw within 30 days of claiming this bonus. The bonus funds can only be used on straight wagers (like moneylines) and on the biggest sports. The odds must be between -200 and +200.
  • 25% Cash Bonus If Your Deposit Is Below $50 (MYB25): There are rollover terms for this as well.
  • 10% Cash Bonus (200CASH) Up To $200: Despite looking the least favorable, it is arguably one of the better bonuses that they offer. That is because this avoids a huge rollover requirement. It is only x 1, though that is x 1 of your deposit and bonus. You can get up to $200 as a first deposit cash bonus. Obviously to get that full amount you would need to deposit $2000 to start off and we would not recommend that. You do need to decide if you like a place before making a hefty deposit. However, it may be worth having at the lower levels. Say you deposit $100 then you qualify for $10 in cash, but you still need to bet $110 ($100 + $10 bonus) before withdrawing. Use promo code: 200CASH. This has been added since the negative comments from bettors in their MyBookie reviews below and would suit people wanting less hassle with the turnover terms and conditions.
  • $20 Risk Free Bet: If your first sports bet loses and you wagered $20 or more, then they give a free play of $20. This needs to be claimed by you. Check the details and terms of this offer via the bonuses link on the top navigation menu of their site.
  • 100% Casino Bonus up to $300 (code: MYC100): There is a 50 x rollover on this one before you can withdraw.
  • 25% Reload Bonus up to $500 (MYB25): This has similar terms to the first bonus, but you get it on one subsequent deposit, if you want it. Minimum deposit of $100 required.
  • 8% Rebate in Racebook: You get it on stakes that were placed at over 11/10 (ie: over +110). There are no real terms beyond that except it only applies to bets in the racebook and it isn’t given automatically. You do need to request it.

Maybe we are a bit jaded here at USA Betting, but we tend to avoid bonuses altogether and just get on with the business of placing bets. All these terms and conditions and rollover requirements – and it is the same with all the sportsbooks – are a minefield. It is pretty hard to get something for nothing in online betting, as in life. The 1% option above may be the closest thing to it though.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options

  • Deposits: You can deposit via bitcoin, litecoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum, ripple (XRP), visa credit cards, Western Union, Moneygram or wire transfer.
  • Payouts: This can be by bank wire, moneygram, ACH Custom or bitcoin. Payouts are processed after 48 hours, which they claim is quicker than anywhere else. This isn’t accurate as certainly crypto withdrawals are near instant with some other firms.

It is worth mentioning what a great site this is if you want to bet using crypto. You can see there are five cryptocurrencies accepted in the cashier.  As we have mentioned elsewhere on USA Betting, we strongly advocate the use of Bitcoin with a site like MyBookie. It is a payment method that makes sure you receive your money back fast and cheaply.

How User-Friendly Is MyBookie Website?

The sports betting software is fast and takes almost no getting used to. It is so well designed that browsing the lines is intuitive. Even if you have never used an online sportsbook before it will still be an absolute breeze for you. What we like about this sports wagering site is that they are always improving the layout and functionality. Some of their better-known rivals in the offshore sportsbook sphere seem to rest on their laurels and don’t bother updating the software. MyBookie is the reverse – they are always improving the player experience.

Below is what greets you on the sportsbook home page. You can see the horizontal menu near the top to browse the odds by event and sport. You can browse around those betting lines with no need to sign up.

MyBookie Sportsbook Review Verdict

This bookie is a great addition to the ranks of the top USA sportsbooks. MyBookie does prefer recreational rather than professional action, so if you are looking to lump $10k on a single selection maybe take a look at one of the other options. The website is easy to use and most countries are accepted, including America (but not Pennsylvania, New York, Nevada or New Jersey states) and Canada.

The bonuses are competitive, but watch out for the typical rollover requirements which can be a hassle at any firm because you can’t withdraw until you have achieved them. However, with one option offering just 1 x rollover requirement, that is hard to resist even for those of us who normally avoid them.

The cashier and payouts system is good. They work hard to make sure the payouts don’t create a problem for any of their players. We recommend the use of Bitcoin with all US-facing offshore sports betting sites: It is fast and requires no tiresome or costly intermediaries to get the transaction done.

All in all, we rate MyBookie.ag highly. They really have worked hard and improved year on year. Once you’ve joined up and given them a go please come back here to USA Betting and leave your review of MyBookie Sportsbook below.

Not sure where Brandon reads 200% Casino offer.

Anytime you have questions about bonus terms you can contact CS via email, chat, phone etc. You can also remove the bonus code before you deposit and or even after you deposit if you wish not to agree to the playthrough on the bonus offer.

MyBookie Sucks

The worst book I ever used online. It was torture, the bonuses suck, the book sucks, the customer service sucks, the website sucks. Blackjack is a scam. Their perks and rewards are garbage. Deposit 300 for 15 dollars that u have to rollover 20 times. They always offering a measly 10 dollar casino chip u have to rollover 10 times in the casino. They have 200 percent bonus u have to rollover 40 times in the casino . . . just a scam and I think they are broke . . . "mybrokie". They also scammed me taking forever with my withdrawal knowing I would bet again, which I did and lost, scumbags.

There are similar high rollover requirements on bonuses with all the offshore sportsbooks and casinos. Often, if you just want to play without the hassle of making rollover targets, the best policy is not to accept a bonus.

15+ year bettor experience

I rarely comment on pages like this. Today, I felt I needed to share. These comments on any brand listed are in some cases baseless. Baseless as in no player account is listed if there was one even created. And #2 If the negative commentators really wanted to voice their negative experience maybe they could also share a link to their formal complaint. Many sites deal with real player complaints. If you are upset about not meeting rollover well you are simply doing it wrong. MB's bonuses are beatable. If you want to BTC and in and 24hr cashout take the 10% cash bonus 1x or the 15% BTC reload bonus 3x. These are much easier to beat than the 100% welcome freeplay bonus 10x. All books have rollover even the best sites like pinny and b365. Don't think for a second that a free $1000 means pop in $10 and earnout $1000 in bonuses with no hook.

I don't think any of the criticisms people have posted are fake, though their accuracy might be questioned or refuted. Why would players give long-winded complaints if they were completely made up? Why would anyone post their account number publicly online? How can you link to a formal complaint? These are not publicly available and often made by phone, live chat or email. Bonuses are basically used by most US sportsbooks as a trap to reel in players and then not let them go. Often bonuses with the US-facing sportsbooks should be avoided. They are the number 1 cause of the complaints we get here. That is mainly because their marketing by the sportsbooks is disingenuous. They scream about $1000 bonus and bury the smallprint about how near-impossible they are to achieve because of the unrealistic rollover requirements. We do appreciate that MyBookie is different. As you point out, they specifically tailor some bonuses to avoid these issues, particularly the one with a 1% rollover requirement offering as described in our review above.

MyBookie Better Than Reviews

I just read these MyBookie reviews and I am a little surprise they aren't more positive. I play both sports betting and the live casino and they do a good job all round. Never had a payouts problem and they take bitcoin. The customer service is really helpful. I don't get the problems. If they really existed, I would have encountered them myself. I play there often enough.

Hey there, If you actually have an account with Mybookie and you have an issue please contact us direct. Many of the negative complaints are done by shills of other brands. Website sucks and is a scam

Customer service for the bookie will purposely create long wait times and avoid adding bonus promotions to your account on deposits along with making your withdrawal seem unavailable for no reason. The sports book will supposedly send you to different customer service reps and state they are notifying the department in charge of any issue you claim. Don’t deposit using a card transaction either. The sportsbook claimed on multiple occasions my card was declined but after contacting my banking institution regarding the failed transaction, they stated the transactions were processed and posted. This sportsbook has many other online reviews that state withdrawing from the sports book is extremely difficult and often times the service makes you wait longer than stated time lengths to receive funds. Also the casino adjusts sports lines to winning wagers on your account to lessen payouts on winnings. Not gonna lie this website looks cool and nice compared to other sports books but they will do their best to scam money from you. Betonline or Bovada are way more trustworthy . . . just look at online reviews. Avoid this website they will steal your money. Use another website, there are so many other ones way better than this that will actually pay you for winnings and be fair.

These comments

People must be on tilt when they comment like this below. MyBookie is as solid as they come for an online sportsbook. Been with them since 2015. I enjoy my experience for the most part aside from the losses and the bad beats. Never had an issue getting my money out. Sometimes have trouble getting money in. Good luck punters!

Thieves

They will not return my deposit because I did not bet enough.

This must be because you took their welcome bonus and have not fulfilled the rollover requirements. This is a trap people fall into when they either don't read or understand the terms and conditions of the welcome bonuses. We have a lot of sympathy for you and often, in our view, it is best not to get involved with the welcome bonuses from the USA sportsbooks, given the hoops that have to be jumped through. Instead, just join and bet.

MyBookie Sportsbook Is OK

Hey Derek, What ending up happening. Did you get your Visa payment returned to you? Sounds like a one-off bad experience. I've been fortunate with Bitcoin payouts but I always deposit via credit card and prefer checks. Getting a check payout is available but the wait is sometimes three weeks. Bitcoin is alright if you know how to cash it out rather than just hold it and return it to another book. MyBookie is the same as most other offshore books. It's no Bovada but it's definitely better than most out there.

This company are a bunch of crumbs, stay away. I tried them, placed a bet on the Super Bowl where they charged me immediately and I am still waiting to be paid for my win. They are total liars and will constantly tell you next Friday but the payoff still isn’t here after 4 weeks when they say 10 days. Here’s the deal: they have no money backing them up and can’t pay. You place a bet here just open your window and throw the cash away. That’s the same as betting with these scumbags.

MyBookie.ag: Terrible Payouts. On Sept 30, 2017 I requested my $400 balance to be payed out via bitcoin. Auto response email "Please send a copy of your drivers license and credit card before we can process your request." No big deal, I make a quick scan to a PDF of the requested documents and submit them via email. Three days go by and I hear nothing. Go to their site and submit another request for payout. Auto response "Please allow 24 hours to process your request." So (following instructions) once a day I request and once a day I am told to allow 24 hours. I send in direct emails asking for an update nothing. Weeks go by with no response to several mails and repeated failed attempts to request the money via website. I finally call customer service, friendly rep examines the record "Well i'm not sure what happened but I will get this processed" Cool. Wait two days and no bitcoins show up. I log on to the site and this time my balance shows zero...hmmm, progress? Maybe they just process slowly. Wait another day nothing. I call again, another rep "Not sure what happened but my supervisor says they are transferring it and it should show up in 15 min". I wait a day and nothing. It is now Oct 21 (3 weeks in). Till now I've been patient as its only a $400 payout. I call again and calmly try to explain whats going on to the rep. I am put on hold for 15 min and suddenly cut off. I call again and once again make my case, put on hold and the rep comes back...'OK sir, please refresh your page and you should see your $400 balance show up. Refresh and the 400 is back. WTF!? "Sir i'm requesting a payout not depositing." 'Ah then you can just follow the payout process on the website' WHAT!?, I'm back where i started 3 weeks ago? So I ask him how long it will take. "Well sir, it takes three business days to review a request for a payout, as its Saturday you should expect it around Wednesday." No, apology for inconvenience, no explanation of why a simple bitcoin deposit has stymied them so. No doubt come Wednesday (5 days away) I again will have to go through this runaround. I'm very unhappy now. For a business who's business is money they seem to do a poor job of managing it. Derek Phelps MyBookie.ag Account ending in 8872. UPDATE: 10/23 On my last mail I told them that if there is some problem processing bitcoins they could just issue a credit to the credit card that I made the initial deposit with if it would expedite things. Got a quick response that they have decided to refund the $400 to my credit card but be patient, that in some cases it takes up to 22 days to process. I immediately respond back STOP! Go ahead and proceed with the bitcoin transfer as that way i at least have a confirmation that the $ was sent. They reply "Oh, Sorry, the refund was just issued and we cannot reverse it now." (uh...BS. I have had several merchant accounts and you have full control of refunds provided they haven't processed through settlement to the customers account) I get no transaction number, no case id, no tracking, etc. Been down this road before with vendors waiting out the clock to prevent chargebacks. I have thrown up my hands and just now reversed the charge with my Citi card.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. That sounds a nightmare tbh.

MyBookie.ag is an improving USA betting site. I am almost classing it as good as the main recommendations that you have on USAbetting.com. Things keep getting better, the choice of events and the low juice on many of them really makes them a big option when shopping around between sportsbooks for the top odds.

 by Big Sal

So after playing at most of the biggest USA offshore sportsbooks, I finally gave MyBookie a go. I am fairly cautious with the newer bookies, though this one has been around a while now I guess. I heard they could be trusted and offered some nice odds. I like the website and it has all gone well. I hope they carry on the way they are. Looks like a good addition to the ranks.

Pleasantly surprised by this sportsbook. I havent played there long but so far so good.
